NUMBERS

Number sense is so important for young learners because it promotes confidence and encourages flexible thinking. It allows the children to create a relationship with numbers and be able to talk about math as a language. Young learners need to know that numbers are just like letters.

It helps children understand both how our number system works, and how numbers relate to each other. Children who develop very good number sense will have a range of mathematical strategies at later stage. They will come to know that when to use numbers and how to adapt them to meet different situations in future.

In this regard Numbers 1-20, Numbers 1-50 and Numbers 1-100 books have been brought to nurture the early learner’s skill.

Each number is presented in a very attractive way and ample space and scope given to practice the numbers in the classroom as well as at home. Multiple activities are given and children will enjoy in doing them. Learning and writing activities can help students to analyse, interpret and communicate mathematical ideas. These are skills needed to evaluate their learning outcome.
