About Book

Krishnan Rangaraju’s The Importance of Being Morph Crystal brings us face to face with all the major debates of our times. However, it is imperative to state that at different levels the play unfolds before us issues and concerns that philosophers, creative artists and activists have preoccupied themselves with at various phases of human history.
During times such as these, the play has to be regarded as a work that is representative of the intransigent nature of creative traditions that refuse to accept the end of human civilisation in spite of all the tyrannical and oppressive forces that threaten to demolish it in diverse ways.
