KANNADA SIRI SAMPADA – Prose, Poetry, Grammar & Activity – is a series of 8 Books (Text – cum – Workbook ) for Primary and High School Students to teach Kannada as First / Second /Third Language as applicable. Here in this series Kannada Language is taught stage by stage and in a scientific way. The Prose / Poetries / Grammar & Activities in these books are designed in such a way that the students will be able to learn Kannada language from simple stage and gradually to the higher level more convinicingly.
Here the author has taken extra care to take the language learning through vast varieties of subject like Language, Literature, Great Writers, Poets, Science, Nation, Nature, defence, sports, art & culture, folklore, health & hygiene History, National Integrity, Social harmony, Nation building and so on …..
Book No1 consists – repetition of Kannada Alphabets, simple rhymes, activities, Kannada words, simple sentences, simple dialogues etc.

Dr.S.L.Srinivasamurthy – is basically Science student and has vast experience in Plant Tissue culture. Obtained Kannada M. A. From Mysore University and P G in Journalism & Mass Communication from Karnataka State Open University. Later he received his Ph.D from Bangalore University for his commandable work on the Life & Achievements of Benjamin Lewis Rice , popularly known as B.L. Rice – British historian, archaeologist and educationist. For this he has visited Oxford, Cambridge and London Universities and collected very rare documents.
The author has also worked as member of text book committee, resource person He has taught Kannada for competitive exams like IAS, KAS and received “SHIKSHAN JYOTI” award. Currently he is HOD in the dept. of Kannada Vijaya PU college, Bengaluru
